About the founders

Corinne Bilyayev is a life-long volunteer, teacher, violinist, and mother. Raised in Maine, she began volunteering at age 5 playing violin in a nursing home. She presently lives in Gulf Breeze where she raises her five children, and you can still find her volunteering locally at the Beehive assisted living home in Gulf Breeze with her violin students. During the volunteer shortage created by the covid pandemic she served regularly at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Alfred-Washburn Center in Pensacola. Over the years, she has taught a variety of school subjects and ages, from fifth grade general education to middle school orchestra to high school and college Spanish and ESOL, most recently at the University of West Florida and Pensacola State College. While in Maine, she served as the concertmaster of the Androscoggin Valley Community Orchestra, and she currently teaches at the Gulf Breeze School of Music. On Saturdays, you’ll see her behind the cash register working at the Interfaith Ministries Thrift Store which supports the Good Samaritan clinic.
